The amount spent on internet advertising has overtaken that spent on television for the first time, as reported by the Internet Advertising Bureau. The report, compiled by PricewaterhouseCoopers, found that a record £1.75bn was spent in the first half of this year, an increase of 4.6% from the same time last year.
The report focuses specifically on the UK market where 23.5% of all advertising is spent on the internet, as opposed to 21.5% on TV.
